JUNE 25 Stars of Tomorrow Show Draffenville, KY - You won't want to miss the Kentucky Opry Stars of Tomorrow show! It's a Branson-style show in the heart of western Kentucky featuring the best young performers from several surrounding states. The show features the country hits of yesterday and today, good ole-fashioned comedy, rock-n'-roll hits of the 50s and 60s, as well as some of the best young musicians around. When the show is over, you may be thinking the show should be renamed the Stars of Today.

The Rend Lake Fireworks Festival
Benton,IL -
The event begins at 4 p.m. Parking is $5 per vehicle, and that is a donation towards the fireworks.
Participants will enjoy live music provided by Sojourn from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the S.I. Concert Band from 8 to 9 p.m. The area's largest fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m. with live music from the So. Il. Concert Band.
A free children's area for ages 12 and under features face painting, crazy hair up-do’s by Studio RLC of Mt Vernon, the Smokehouse from the Sesser Fire Department, Air-Up Playground provided by our sponsors, and temporary tattoos and balloons from the Whittington Clowns.
The carnival will run from July 1 through 4.
